Dentures

There are many Canadians who suffer the loss of most, if not all, of their teeth due to tooth decay, periodontal diseases, tooth developmental defects, dental trauma or excessive drug or tobacco use. At Victoria Park Dental, we design dentures that are custom-fitted to replace large gaps left behind by missing teeth. Dentures can either be full or partial structures.

Full dentures are used by patients who have lost all of their teeth in either their upper (maxillary) arch or lower (mandibular) arch. In some cases both maxillary and mandibular dentures may be required to replace all of a patient’s missing teeth.

Partial dentures are used by patients that suffer from partial loss of their teeth when a dental bridge cannot be applied to fix the problem.

At Victoria Park Dental, we ensure that partial and full dentures are custom-made according to our patients’ requirements. Our dentists will make a dental impression of the ridges left behind by the missing teeth, and send the impression to a dental laboratory where a full or partial denture will be constructed based on the dental impressions provided.

Dentures improve the functionality and appearance of a patient’s mouth; they improve chewing ability, pronunciation and speech, and maintain a natural appearance to the face and jaw, effectively boosting a patient’s self-esteem and confidence. We are your trusted source for comfortable and custom-fitted dentures.
